How do I book a session?
Fill out the contact form below and I'll reach out as soon as possible and within 24 hours to schedule a consultation call or coffee chat. This is a relaxed, no commitment conversation where we get to know each other, talk through your vision, and figure out if we're the right fit. If you'd like to move forward, a 50% retainer secures your date and we get started on planning your session.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better to secure your preferred date, but don't hesitate to reach out even for last minute sessions. I'll always do my best to accommodate.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
I believe that every weather brings a special charm into your session. However, if you prefer a sunny day, we can re-schedule your session once depending on my availability.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
You can reschedule your session once at no extra cost, as long as you give at least 7 days notice. Rescheduling is subject to my availability and I will always do my best to accommodate.
If you need to cancel with more than 7 days notice, any amount paid is non-refundable but can be applied as credit toward a different session type within 6 months.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the session forfeit the full amount paid with no credit transfer.
THE SESSION ITSELF
What should I wear?
Before your session I will send you a styling guide with suggestions on what photographs best, how to coordinate outfits with your partner or family, and what to avoid. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel like yourself. When in doubt, reach out and I'll help you put some ideas together. I also have a small wardrobe and prop collection you're welcome to borrow for your session.
Can I bring my own props or ideas?
Absolutely. There is nothing better than having you involved in the creative process.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
They don't have to. My approach to family photography is documentary by nature. I'm not looking for your kids to sit still and smile. I want to capture them as they actually are: playing, moving, engaging with you and with each other. I plan activities in advance to help bring that out naturally.
my approach
Do you do traditional posed photos or only candid?
Both. I don't like to limit a session to one style, because the best galleries have a mix: images that feel alive and spontaneous, and a few classic portraits you can actually use for your Christmas cards. If you have a specific photo list or requests, let me know in advance and I'll make sure we cover everything.
Can I request a specific location or do you choose?
Both work. If you have somewhere in mind, let's do it. If not, I'll suggest options based on your style and the kind of images you want, and we'll decide together.
Do you help with styling?
Yes, and honestly it's one of my favourite parts. As a fashion designer, putting together a look that photographs beautifully and feels like you is something I genuinely love doing.
Do you retouch or remove things I don't like about myself?
I edit temporary things like bruises, short term blemishes, or scars if you'd like me to. Permanent features I leave as they are, because my goal is to capture you as your most beautiful, authentic self, not to change who you are.

my style & expertise
What editing style do you use?
You can get a feel for my style by browsing my portfolio. I keep my editing minimal and intentional: most of the magic happens in camera through light, texture, and physical materials. I edit the full gallery for consistency in light and colour, but I don't replicate or follow other photographers' colour styles. My editing is my own.
Do you shoot in all lighting conditions, including indoors?
Yes. I prefer working with natural light and high quality lenses to minimize the use of flash. For events like indoor civil weddings where flash may be needed, I'll adapt accordingly.
What languages do you work in?
English, Spanish, German, and Italian. Swiss German is a work in progress!
delivery & pricing
How and where will I receive my photos?
You will receive a password protected online gallery with two versions of each image: high resolution files for printing, and web sized files for social media and digital sharing.
Can I print my photos or share them on social media?
Yes. Along with your gallery you will receive a lifelong personal licence to use the images for private purposes.
Do you offer raw/unedited files?
No. I only deliver fully edited images.
Do you offer prints or photo books?
I am currently building out my shop offerings. In the meantime, reach out and I'll let you know what's currently available.
